Funded by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, the Clean Communities Advisory Committee sponsors events throughout the year in order to promote the awareness of the problems that litter causes and the advantages of recycling whenever possible.
The Committee is comprised of volunteers from the Township whose goals are to keep our community beautiful. The Committee is as follows:
- Renee Rosato, Clean Communities Coordinator
- Evelyn Hampton
- Carole Allgor
- Stefanie Wynne
High school students are also encouraged to join this Committee as they can earn community service credits for their college applications.
Some of the events that are sponsored by the Clean Communities Advisory Committee are as follows:
- Clean Sweep (spring and fall clean-ups)
- Fall Fest / Octoberfest
